Indian Drone shot down in Gulshan e Hadeed area in Karachi

An explosion was reported near Sharafi Goth in the Malir district of Karachi on Thursday, triggering panic among local residents. According to Karachi police, the blast occurred after an Indian drone entered Pakistani airspace and was intercepted and shot down in Gulshan-e-Hadeed .

This incident forms part of a broader series of alleged drone attacks by India across multiple cities in Pakistan. Targets reportedly included Lahore, Chakwal, Rawalpindi, Chorr, Gujranwala, Sheikhupura, Ghotki, and Dharki in Sindh .

Following the explosion in Karachi, rescue and police teams swiftly arrived at the scene to assess the situation and secure the area.

SSP Malir confirmed that metal fragments were recovered from the site. Investigators are currently examining the debris to determine the nature and origin of the device.
