A group of mob attacked the KFC restaurant located at UP Mor, North Karachi area, on late Wednesday night.
According to the Karachi Police, a group of mob tried to vandalize the restaurant; however, police reached the scene and foiled the attempt successfully.
No damage was reported to the restaurant. Police have taken four individuals into custody and transferred them to the police station for further legal action.
Similar incidents have been reported in various cities where angry mobs vandalize the food chain restaurants in Rawalpindi, Lahore, Islamabad, and Karachi.
In a tragic incident, a fast-food outlet in Sheikhupura became the latest target of an attack by mob, leading to the murder of an employee and significant property damage on April 14.
